The lyrics of the song is Thomas Moor's (1779—1852) "Those Evening Bells" translated by Russian poet Ivan Kozlov (1779—1840).
Those evening bells! Those evening bells!
How many a tale their music tells
of youth, and home and that sweet time,
When last I heard their soothing chime.
Those joyous hours are past away,
And many a heart that then was gay
Within the tomb now darkly dwells
And hears no more these evening bells.
And so 'twill be when I am gone;
That tuneful peal will still ring on
while other bards will walk these dells,
and sing your praise, sweet evening bells. less

Second, it provides all qualified students with the experience of singing in a professional-level ensemble (as well as the associated "real-world" responsibilities of the ... less

We do one performance per session, and ask our audience to sing along too.
We are a welcoming and warm and eclectic group.
