LSYC believes that all children are capable of discovering their voice. Our programs provide students in grades 2 through 10 with a creative musical outlet for discovering the joys of teamwork, cultural awareness, self-confidence, self discipline, and unparalleled musical opportunities.

Its members are young artists who regularly perform with other significant early music Ensembles at home and abroad. They are the participants of several radio, television, and CD recordings. Estas canciones de cuna se cantaban principalmente para los niños menores de 6 meses, ya que se buscaban en ellos signos de enfermedad y muerte. Estas canciones de cuna han sido una forma de que la madre libere la tensión y el agotamiento. También se cantaban para alentar al niño a ser fuerte, o aunque macabro, posiblemente para decirle al niño cómo la muerte sería mejor para él en algún caso.  less
