It was founded in 1932 and belongs to major choral tradition with a great history and universal repertoire. Glorious history of the Choir is connected with the names of the most prominent Ukrainian choral bandleaders of ХХ-ХХІ centuries, such as G.Taranova, O.Min'kivskyi, V. Min'ko, Y.Taranchenko, G.Kulyaba, V. Mal'cev, P.Muravskyi, V.Skoromnyi. Because of high-level artistic traditions and many professional performances, Choir became a treasure of independent Ukraine. At the present time Yuliya Tkach is an artistic director and main bandleader of the Academic choir of Ukrainian radio. We are led by Jonathan Wikeley, our D...  moreBased in south-west London, All Saints Fulham Choir are a friendly, talented and experienced group of young volunteer Singers in our 20s and 30s. In addition we have a choral scholarship programme for music students. We are led by Jonathan Wikeley, our Director of Music and Assistant Organist, Emma Howarth. We sing 3 out of 4 Sundays at All Saints Church Fulham at both the 9:30am Sung Eucharist and 6pm Choral Evensong. We have weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays at 8pm. We always welcome new members. Seemingly effortless and simple, every gesture and every sound used to good effect, adventurous from beginning to end. The Singers sang together in the Netherlands Youth Choir. They hit it off so well there that the ambition developed to continue together in female a cappella repertoire; a relatively rare genre very dear to the hearts of all five. The top quality displayed since by Wishful Singing – both aurally and visually – makes the ensemble unique in the world. The repertoire ranges from modest works from the Renaissance and Baroque eras to swinging versions of golden oldies such as Mister Sandman.
