Featuring a cast of over 44 singers In planning the narrative for this concert, where possible, we named individual victims to lend identity to the anonymity of the masses. The concert also reflected on modern conflicts with a special focus on the impact of war on ordinary innocent people -refugees, civilians, children and victims of the growth of modern slavery often associated with conflict. Featuring well loved songs of commemoration, peace, friendship and reconciliation, there was plenty of opportunity to join in, loudly and with meaning - and by being together, singing and making music . 300 plus people were part of what is happening amongst like minded people trying to bring Peace to Planet Earth at this very difficult and troubled time. songs include Robins song Singing out the days The French Prostitute ...    less

He has given concerts in different Spanish cities and internationally. He has appeared as guest choir at the International Contest of Habanera and Polyphony of Torrevieja. He has also performed concerts of polyphonic works of great composers from the Renaissance to the twentieth-century works. Most components of this choir are professional musicians or young students of instrumental or vocal music. The choir has performed concert tours in Switzerland, Italy and Cuba. Receive the following awards to date: 2 nd prize in Portugalete, 2nd prize and special prize in the contest of carols in Molina de Segura (Murcia), 2nd prize and prize for the best Nana in the contest of lullabies and carols in Rojales (Alicante ). The BASC has been performing on a regular basis on each of Broadway Academy’s Showcase that is held at the end of each academic term. Performers of the BASC start from the age from age of 13 and to a maximum age of 28 years old. BASC performs according to a certain theme for each performance. This year for the BICF2018, the BASC has chosen the theme of Hamilton, from the award winning Broadway Musical Hamilton. BASC is under the vocal direction of Dr Casey Broadway and choreography under Ms Nana Eddy. The BASC is modeled after the American Show Choir whereby choristers have to undergo both vocal and choreography training. The choir has been invited to perform in New York, Los Angeles, Florida and Michigan. BASC hopes that the American Tour will be a reality soon.
