The Choir's size allows it to concentrate on performing the larger major choral works to great effect. The Choir has also been invited to collaborate with the Philharmonia Chorus and the BBC National Chorus of Wales on many occasions in recent years to tackle some of the choral pieces requiring even greater choral forces such as Mahler's Eighth Symphony, Janacek's Glagolitic Mass, the Dvorak Stabat Mater and La Damnation de Faust by Berlioz. Since 1993, The Australian Voices have championed an astonishing flourish of new Australian Vocal Music, having commissioned hundreds of new works. Much of this new Music captures vividly the vibrant sound, colour, and energy of the Australian continent and its people. The singers, aged between 17 and 28 come from different Australian cities and commit to a rigorous professional schedule of concerts and workshops, both in Australia and throughout the world. This Vocal ensemble has been recognised by many international awards and honours as one of the finest of its type in the world. C6 is an auditioned acappella group comprised of singers from Chicagoland Voices. When originally formed, C6 had 6 singers. However, we have fluctuated from 5 - 7 over the last few years.

Within this organisation, there are two sister groups: NOVA, the core group of singers performing to accompaniment and The Grace Notes who sing a cappella. Rehearsals are held weekly and fundraising concerts for local charities are run each year in May and December.
