Our subscription series offers innovative, collaborative concerts of classical masterworks, modern American repertoire and seasonal music. Having made several successful concert tours to Europe and the U.K., in 2008 the ROS made award-winning appearances in the Olympic Cultural Festival with concerts in Beijing and Shanghai. The ROS is a frequent guest of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. We welcome advanced singers for weekly rehearsals in Rochester, New York, USA. With increasing anxiety, the priests call on Baal a second time. Dusk approaches. Still no fire. Still no Baal. Things turn from just plain embarrassing to rather desperate for the priests of Baal. Elijah turns more aggressive this time, urging them to mutilate themselves before their god in an effort to gain his attention. The choir is regarded as a leader in the Canadian male choir movement, and acts as mentors and inspiration to choirs across the country.
