Students of chorus constantly take part in master classes of leading representatives of foreign choral culture.

It has grown to a higher level by achieving numerous titles within the past few years and also recognized as the best Tenor Bass voices from a school choir around the country. (Title gained 2014 onwards). The Choir has performed in National and International level stages (2012 Rome) and hosting many choral events in negombo including the biggest carol service in Negombo since 2007.(Maris Carols). It is trained by Mr. Francis De Almeida (Choral Director) since 2004. This choir has influences some youth choirs including Speranza , etc.... And also the Past Pupils Choir (The Old Maris Choir). The Choir is still hosting many Choral Events in Negombo. The choral programme starts with a general education for ages 5-7, before they are ready for Junior Choir (7-10), Intermediate Choir (10-13), Stage Choir or Youth Choir (13-18). Youth Choir contains over 80 Singers, and the total number of Singers meeting each week at the academy is over 180.
