It is made up of James Rose (Founder), Sam Robson, Emily Dankworth, Ben Cox, Martynas Vilpisauskas and Lewis Daniel, all young and talented musicians from the Guildhall School of Music. Performing live on stage around London with guest singers such as Jacqui Dankworth, VIVE brings rich, diverse harmonies with a fresh, contemporary sound, taking inspiration from the legendary Take 6 and the Real Group! Their music is mainly original arrangements and compositions and what's more, the focal point is not just pop, fusion, Harmony, jazz, spirituals... but a complete synthesis of all of these. They will be performing a set of originals and covers, including original compositions 'Voices', and 'Ezekiel Saw De Wheel' - the latter proclaimed "Genius" by Mervyn Warren! Their sound combines rock, acapella, electronic, ambient and chant influences. Paradisum was created by Richard Childress, a Chicago-born professional singer, arranger and manager who brought together five talented and versatile young singers to record a few demo tracks. This attracted some attention from a veteran A & R professional, resulting in Paradisum being invited to perform in a private showcase in London before execs from Universal and Sony/BMG Records. The band is now in a new exciting collaboration with the brilliant tv and film composer Philip Sheppard. New covers and original sings will be out on Soundcloud and iTunes early in 2012.  less
