Our purpose is to sing for enjoyment & to share this with the community. We are a non-audition Choir, all we ask of those wishing to join us is that they can sing in tune.

Its repertoire includes choral Music from the Middle Ages to the 21st century, works by contempor...  moreMixed Choir of “Makrygiannis” Cultural Association was founded in 1980, contributing since then to the development of choral art in the city of Arta, Greece. Its repertoire includes choral Music from the Middle Ages to the 21st century, works by contemporary Greek composers, traditional songs, spirituals, etc. It has given numerous concerts in Greece, Germany, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Norway, Switzerland, Hungary, Cyprus, Turkey, and Serbia. Since 2023, the Choir has been organizing annually the “Arta Sacred Music Festival” which takes places in Byzantine churches of Arta. Since November 2021, the Choir has been conducted by Antonis Ververis.  less
