As a result of the love they had for choir MUSIC, they felt a need for a SCHOOL choir to be established. From the first year of its existence, choir was trained and prepared for the SCHOOLs’ eisteddfods by two fellow students. In 1998, they both matriculated.
In the following year these students continued with the choir training and were compensated for their services by the SCHOOL Governing Body (SGB). In 2001 they were snatched by nearby SCHOOLs that were willing to pay them better wages and the SGB had to look for other people who could assist with choir training from the community. This continued until 2004, when the SCHOOL employed a teacher who studied MUSIC at university.
In 2009 another teacher, who studied MUSIC too, came and volunteered his services at the SCHOOL. In 2010 the teacher was employed on a temporary basis by the Department of... less

We are directed by the dynamic Scott Inglis-Kidger, a MUSIC graduate from Cambridge University and previously a countertenor in the renowned King’s College Choir. Scott selects a fabulous range of MUSIC for us to work on and we are incredibly lucky to be supported by a professional orchestra and top professional soloists. All of this, combined with the commitment and enthusiasm of our members, makes for performances which are thrilling for the audience and exhilerating for the singers. We still retain a sense of joy of singing and of friendship and celebrate all our concerts with parties at our local Battersea pub.
We do not hold auditions so if you would like to come and join us you are very welcome at any time to try a rehearsal or two and then decide if you would like to join. We are currently very keen to recruit more tenors and basses though all voices are welcome.

Our repertoire embraces operatic and lighter MUSIC alongside classical choral works, with orchestra, from Bach to Bernstein, and a wide range of a cappella repertoire, which we have also toured abroad. Since 2002, our concert tours have included Lake Garda, Venice, Umbria, Tuscany, Kraków, Amiens and Ghent. In the UK we have performed at the London Coliseum (2006), Ely Cathedral (2007), the Southbank Centre (2010) and Winchester Cathedral (2011). less

Every one of them have learned and recorded individually a part of an original song (Vuela Alto = Fly HIGH). When brought together, this parts sums to a wonderful show of talent and MUSIC. This project was made for the graduation prom by students aged between 13 and 15 years old.
They show us that the only thing that matters to achieve anything is take the risk and surrender to your dreams. More than a third of them have never sung to an audience before (including Linda, the soloist).
The MUSIC brings us together, it allows us to raise our voice to the universe and with it "Ni la distancia podrá separarnos" (Not even the distance can take us apart). less
