It has also performed at Abbey Road Studios, the London O2 Arena and Hampton Court Palace. Abroad, the Choir has given concerts in the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris and the Pushkin Palace outside St Petersburg, at festivals in Aix-en-Provence, Strasbourg, Aachen and Cork, and at other important venues in Russia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Holland, Iceland, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Italy and Latvia. In 2003 Štěpán Policer took up the artistic leadership of Gaudeamus, since 2007 Dáša Karasová has been leading the Choir. The first class had only 11 brave singers but over the years numbers have steadily grown.
