They are committed to bringing to life new and diverse Choral works and have commissioned and premiered new works by local and international composers. Its 32 members are all experience musicians coming from across South Africa. They represent a wide range of professionals; from professional singers, to high school voice teachers and Choral conductors. Their dedication and constant development, thanks to their musical direct or Marouska Attard, has helped them establish as one of the most renowned choirs in Malta. In fact, on ‘The Guardian’ of November 16th, 2010, one of their major productions was listed with the top ten events in Europe, alongside internationally renowned producers and productions. The concert theme focused on the damaging nature of gossip and the larger meaning of how words are powerful and have greater impact than we realize. Based on a well-known Jewish folk tale, the piece is largely sung in Yiddish, featuring narrated passages in English, with the moral resolution in Hebrew.
