We acknowledge the love of God, by singing soul inspiring songs and to proclaim the word of God through Music. Mission We pursue to sing soul inspiring music with religious and patriotic songs as a way of sensitizing the power of gospel music on nature to our various friends and love ones. Biography The Celestial City Choir was initiated by two music students at University of Education, Winneba in 2010. It's formation or foundation began in early January 2011. The members who contributed to the founding were all members from Bantama Seventh-Day Adventist Church about 8 members. Later more hands were called in and official inauguration was done on June 4th 2011.  less

Described as ‘a fine body of singers’ by John Packwood in the Bristol Evening Post, they have delighted audiences with their fresh, inspiring interpretations of Choral repertory from many centuries. Members of the choir come from many parts of the UK for intensive weekends of music-making, culminating in Concerts acclaimed for their invigorating Choral sound, clarity of tone and texture, and innovative programming. In June 2010 Harmonia Sacra were invited to perform a programme of music by early seventeenth-century English Recusant musicians (including William Byrd, Richard Dering and Peter Philips) for a Swansea University History conference at Oystermouth.
