-- CURRENTLY DORMANT -- The Overture Choir is an audition-free, community choir from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which focuses on making singing accessible and enjoyable for community members of all ages (18+).

We are an SATB choir of between 40 & 50 singers. We perform a wide range of sacred and secular choir music at 3 concerts a year, in Ealing. Experienced singers are very welcome.

The BSRU Chamber Choir is a part of the Voice and Choral Studies Program at the College of Music, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Bangkok, Thailand. Choir Director: Dr Casey Broadway

We are a large choir in a tiny village that regularly sings services at great cathedrals.

However other bodies of the city helped it as well like : The Ministry of Culture, of National Defense, of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace, the Greek Committee of UNESCO, private educational institutions, well known businessmen active in town and Press organizations. It has also developed partnerships with communities of Greeks abroad, the International Foundation “Mikis Theodorakis” based in Stockholm, the Union of Cypriots in North Greece, the clubs of Imvrians and Asia minor, the Federation of Pontian Associations, The Labor Center of Thessaloniki, the Medical Association of Thessaloniki, the Northern Greece Association...    less

In the repertoire of choir there are works of different styles from Renaissance to modern Aleatory . Folk and sacred music has an important place too . They have been featured ...  moreThe 1607 Ensemble is a closely-knit vocal quartet that was selected as young artists at the Brighton Early Music Festival in 2007, and has gone on to perform in festivals throughout the UK and internationally in Utrecht and Capri. They have been featured on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ and ‘The Early Music Show.’ The members of the 1607 Ensemble hail from Britain, Canada, and the US, and their diverse musical backgrounds and affinity for a variety of musical styles are evident in their music. Equally at home singing Renaissance music and jazz, they also write their own compositions and arrangements, often combining old and new styles in music tailored to their unique vocal colours. One of the ensemble’s long-time interests has been the poetry of Clément Marot in 16th-century chanson. The Maestro Casanovas Chorale was founded in 1986 and is named in recognition of the Maestro Francisco Casanovas. He has given concerts in different Spanish cities and internationally. He has appeared as guest choir at the International Contest of Haban...  moreThe Maestro Casanovas Chorale was founded in 1986 and is named in recognition of the Maestro Francisco Casanovas. He has given concerts in different Spanish cities and internationally. He has appeared as guest choir at the International Contest of Habanera and Polyphony of Torrevieja. He has also performed concerts of polyphonic works of great composers from the Renaissance to the twentieth-century works. Most components of this choir are professional musicians or young students of instrumental or vocal music. The choir has performed concert tours in Switzerland, Italy and Cuba.
