We share our love of singing by performing an entertaining selection of music from a variety of genres. Since our inception, we strive to engage all our audience members, from the musically sophisticated to first-timers. We enjoy bringing our performance art to the Calgary community. We perform at two major concerts per year as well as various community performances. As a distinctive and dynamic women’s vocal Ensemble, we collaborate with local artists to perform unique arrangements of familiar and eclectic repertoire. Blend Vocal Association strives to unite in harmony and share our love of singing by performing a diverse and entertaining selection of musical styles. We present two performances per season in Western Connecticut. Our Holiday Prelude Concerts are accompanied by the Connecticut Master Chorale Holiday Brass, and our Spring Concerts are accompanied by the Connecticut Master Chorale Orchestra. In addition to the regularly scheduled performances, our accomplishments include a Christmas Concert at the White House, a U.S. premiere performance at Lincoln Center, three Carnegie Hall appearances, as well as concerts at West Point, Madison Square Garden, and with the Ridgefield Symphony - all by invitation. We won the annual McDonald’s Gospelfest Competition three years in a row and have appeared on ABC TV. Our recordings have been featured on WMNR Fine Arts Radio in Connecticut.  less

Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. the Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. the idea of the Festival is to bring the music cLoser to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini.
