Recorded live on May 3, 2015, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Performed by the Concert Choir ensemble of the Girl Choir of South Florida. Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson, Accompanist: Gayle Giese.
No coward soul is mine,
No trembler in the world's storm-troubled sphere
I see Heaven's glories shine
And Faith shines equal, arming me from Fear
O God within my breast
Almighty, ever-present Deity
Life that in me has rest
As I, Undying Life, have power in Thee
With wide-embracing love
Thy spirit animates eternal years
Pervades and broods above,
Changes, sustains, dissolves, creates and rears
Though Earth and Man were gone
And suns and universes ceased to be
And Thou wert left alone,
Every existence would exist in thee less

Prima Choir has been founded in 1996 in the pretty Bulgarian town on the Black Sea coast – Pomorie, by 25 women, practicing versatile jobs, but united by one common love – the Music. The repertoire includes works of different styles and epochs. The main part of the production is dedicated to the Church Slavonic music, variations of authentic Bulgarian folklore, and, in the same time, productions of modern Bulgarian authors. The vocal ensemble has set the ambitious task to reach a homogenous and beautiful sound, expressiveness and the right stylistic interpretation. “Prima” Choir has delivered artistic tours in Sweden (1997), Poland (1997), Greece (2002), Portugal (2004), France (2006), Albania (2010), Greece(2013)…
The formation has taken part in the Balkan Mountains fest in Veliko Tarnovo in 2001. The women from Pomorie were awarded the gold medals and released their first compact disc. The same year – 2001. came the invitation to participate in... less

The whole Mass setting contains Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Benedictus, Agnus Dei and also an organ voluntary based on the themes.
A version for 3 part mixed Choir (Soprano, Alto and Men) and organ is also available at:
http://dwsolo.musicaneo.com/sheetmusic/sm-185192_mass_for_three_part_mixed_Choir_and_organ.html
Because of its gently exotic modal flavours, the music was deemed to have a ring of "oriental promise" by one appreciative member of the congregation at the first performance.
This setting has been sung in Cathedrals in Manchester, Southwell and Dublin and the Agnus has also featured in services at Christ Church Didsbury.
The recording here is the Agnus Dei sung by the Voluntary Choir of Manchester Cathedral during their visit to Southwell Minster. less
