Founded in 2008, Northern Lights Chorale is an auditioned Ensemble based in the northern suburban area of Minneapolis and St. Paul. NoLC is an auditioned chorale of community members who rehearse weekly to provide a quality choral experience and explore new repertoire through a collaborative and persistent group effort. The Choir regularly performs at weddings, corporate events and massed male voice choir events, enthralling audiences up and down the country, having also performed in Jersey, Ireland, Belgium, Germany and the USA. Choristers hail from all over North London and have raised substantial funds for national and local charities including the Paul Strickland Scanner Appeal, The Stroke Association, the RAF Benevolent Fund and Bentley Priory Museum. We are a truly trans-generational choir consisting of staff, parents, colleagues, friends and family from across the Formby High School community. At full strength, we have over 80 talented members and we have recently launched a smaller ‘function’ group – the ‘G:Force Executive’ for weddings and private functions. We support the national Sing Up campaign and perform regularly across the local community. This exciting and innovative choir rehearses every Tuesday evening during term time, from 6.30pm til 8.00pm. Join us for fun and laughter every week, plus great gigs, inspirational songs and memorable experiences!
