Our repertoire spans the centuries, from the Renaissance to the 21st Century. Our particular speciality is folk music from all over the globe. Cantóirí sings each song in the original language. We are lucky as we have been able to draw on the language skills of choir members from around the world. Cantóirí perform regularly in Dublin and also enjoy taking part in Choral competitions around the country.

Building upon the inspiration from such groups as Rajaton, The King’s Singers, and The Real Group, Six has charted a unique path, combining choral, pop, world, and folk influences, surprising audiences everywhere with the versatility and blend of their voices. To categorize their genre is difficult; to experience their music is indescribable. The members of Six come from entirely different musical backgrounds. In its inception, Six came together as a group of opera and rock Singers, jazz artists and choral traditionalists. We are open to all Singers with no auditions and previous experience of contemporary music is not needed. We work mainly, though not exclusively, from music, some of which is unconventionally notated. Most of our work is a capella and the focus is on ensemble singing. One objective is to expand the contemporary amateur vocal repertoire, which is less developed than the instrumental repertoire. AMA was formed in 2010 by a group of friends singing together for pleasure. The name - an acronym for Angela, Marilyn, and Andrew - was created for the group's first concert at the end of 2011.
