İnci Tığlı Ayağ. Since its foundation, Alegria Chamber Choir has been performing under the guidance of conductor İnci Tığlı Ayağ and assistant conductor Gözde Saatçioğlu. Between 2002 and 2008, Alegria Chamber Choir performed under the scope of Ankara Çoksesli Müzik Derneği (Ankara Polyphonic Music Association), a prestigious association which was founded in 1974. Since 2008, the choir has been extending his repertoire and performing fully independently as a non-profit and non-governmental organization. The purpose of Alegria is to introduce to large audiences the world’s choir repertoire from different periods and regions. Life got in the way. We are now actively trying again to recruit new members. The Renaissance Revelers madrigal ensemble performs medieval and renaissance music in the greater Washington DC metro area. The ensemble has performed at the Maryland Renaissance Festival annually since 1987. Are you a choral singer? Do you like to sing old and interesting music in different languages? Do you like to dress in costume and attend renaissance festivals? We have the perfect opportunity for you! The Renaissance Revelers are looking for singers. All parts are needed, but we are in particular need of tenors and basses. Ability to sight read is not required but is desirable. We perform annually at the Maryland Renaissance Festival with a few gigs also thrown in over the holidays. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings in Rockville, MD. Interested?
