The cornerstone of the Chorus ...  moreAs a nationally recognized Choral organization offering musical training and performance to a diverse group of choristers, the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus has provided an artistic and cultural resource in Tucson for 75 years. The cornerstone of the Chorus is traditional boychoir music including sacred and secular pieces spanning the Middle Ages to the present. The Chorus incorporates songs and ballads of the American Southwest and other repertoire into its program in a unique way. Costumed as cowboys the boys sing the songs of the saddle and showcase their trick rodeo roping. The Chorus also performs contemporary music including Broadway show tunes, international songs, holiday music and modern favorites. Additionally, the Chorus represents the Tucson community as a world renowned Choral organization. It has toured throughout the U.S. and many countries around the world. Joined by dancers/instructors from Fiesta DanceN' Fitness studio in Davis, CA, this piece served the cornerstone for the thematic programming. Director Tracia Barbieri.
