Weekly sessions, under the instruction of a highly enthusiastic and experienced Natural Voice Practitioner and registered British Voice Association teacher, will provide opportunities for you to sing in harmony, discover new techniques and to improve your musicality, understanding and appreciation of music. With your newly found confidence you will tackle more complicated and challenging musical arrangements and enJoy hearing the finished result – just for pleasure! Whilst we “work” hard these sessions are enJoyable social events. there is discipline and structure but also fun, laughter and a strong sense of teamwork as we rehearse songs from a variety of genres, performing new musical arrangements to suit a variety of tastes. Dozan wa Awtar Singers received two Gold Diplomas for its participation in the 8th world Choir Games held in Riga, Latvia this year. the Games included twenty seven thousand singers from four hundred choirs representing seventy three countries. Dozan wa A...  moreDozan wa Awtar Singers received two Gold Diplomas for its participation in the 8th world Choir Games held in Riga, Latvia this year. the Games included twenty seven thousand singers from four hundred choirs representing seventy three countries. Dozan wa Awtar, under the leadership of its Founder and Director Shireen Abu Khader, competed in two categories: Scenic Folklore and Mixed Choirs; singing Arabic songs in both and receiving a Gold Diploma in each category. This is the first time Jordan is represented in an international choral competition. On this occasion, Shireen Abu Khader expressed her immense pride at this accomplishment and international recognition and commended the continuous efforts of the singers which led to this achievement. She also thanked all those who have given both financial and moral support to the choir, as this could not have been achieved without their help.
