YNS is a children's choir organization of over 330 singers in 8 different Choirs ranging in age from grades 1- 12. Choirs consist of singers grouped by age and ability, as well as a Boys Choir and Young Men's Chorus

We were founded by musician Shona Brown in 2009 with 3 Choirs and now are 4 community Choirs across Bearsden and Lanarkshire with around 180 members. SoundRoutes Singers have performed to sellout audiences at venues across the local region and in 2012 recorded our debut EP Changing Key. The groundbreaking project was in conjunction with Addiewell Prison Choir, also run by Shona Brown, Britain's first prison choir and over £3000 was raised for Shelter Scotland.  less
