Don't throw away your shot to join us in our milestone 25th season, including songs from Hamilton, Coldplay and Dear Evan Hansen! Are you a legal professional who's looking for a fresh way to connect with your musical interests and like-minded legal eagles while giving back meaningfully to our community? The 80+ voice New York City Bar Chorus ("CBC") will conduct a limited number of auditions (brief, private and low-pressure), with primary focus on baritones, basses and high sopranos, for our fall 2017 cycle. We rehearse about three Tuesday evenings per month, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, in midtown Manhattan to produce what listeners describe as a professional-quality sound, spanning musical theater, jazz, pop/rock, gospel and classical styles. for example, this fall's repertoire will include sophisticated arrangements of Tony- and Oscar-winning music from Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, The Wiz and La La Land. Each singer in Vandeca comes from a different musical background, shaping who we are as a group. Having only been in existence since November of 2011, this group has big plans to shape the face of choral music in Vancouver, encouraging our audience to feel connected with our performances through multi-genre pieces, and using movement and amazing sound to inspire others to become involved with their local choral groups.  less

Flame Trees are known as 鳳凰木 (Phoenix Trees) in Chinese. Phoenix Singers, Hong Kong is a newly established chorus, musically directed by Celia Leung. The chorus meets once a week and share the joy of singing. The Chorus presented concerts at various venues around HK since its inception. We also make it our mission to support local charities at each term.
