Papandopulo composed "Pozdrav Zori dalmatinskoj" on August 1st 1976 in Opatija (Croatia). Written in 1844 by Ana Vrdoljak, a poetess from Imostski (Croatia), the lyrics of this song date back to the times of Illyrian movement, celebrating the launching of the magazine "Zora dalmatinska", a literary and educational weekly issued in Zadar, thus being the first Croatian literary magazine to be issued outside Zagreb (from 1844 to 1849). The song was published on the cover of the No. 44 of the magazine, issued on October 28th 1844.  less

Let your moderation be known unto all men the Lord is at hand! Be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be known unto God And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Words from Philippians IV. vv. 4 - 7)
