Their diverse repertoire ranges from Mozart and Rutt... moreAmicantus Choir is a group of good friends and very talented musicians based in Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire under the leadership of one of the Midlands leading Musical Directors, Miss Maddy Evans. Their diverse repertoire ranges from Mozart and Rutter to Take That and Snow Patrol with a good dose of musicals and Disney thrown in for good measure.
The seeds of the Choir were first planted back in mid-2012 when Maddy was asked to set up a Choir to perform a small concert at her local church near to Stratford Upon Avon. The Choir are all good friends and met in a variety of ways from other Choirs, bands and performing arts groups.
Since their first concert, they have grown to become one of the best and most revered Choirs in the Midlands and have performed at countless venues from the Birmingham German Christmas Markets to Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations in Stratford Upon Avon to their very first concert in Warwick in June 2013.

He has given concerts in different Spanish cities and internationally. He has appeared as guest Choir at the International Contest of Habanera and Polyphony of Torrevieja. He has also performed concerts of polyphonic works of great composers from the Renaissance to the twentieth-century works. Most components of this Choir are professional musicians or young students of instrumental or Vocal music.
The Choir has performed concert tours in Switzerland, Italy and Cuba. Receive the following awards to date: 2 nd prize in Portugalete, 2nd prize and special prize in the contest of carols in Molina de Segura (Murcia), 2nd prize and prize for the best Nana in the contest of lullabies and carols in Rojales (Alicante ).
