Executing this music with "sensitivity and style" (Early Music America), Schola Antiqua takes pride in providing the highest standards of research, performance, and education involving many under-served repertories in the western musical canon. Founded in 2000, the organization has received invitations to perform from the Indianapolis Early Music Festival, Chicago’s Newberry Library, the Chicago Cultural Center, the University of Chicago, the University of Notre Dame, the American Guild of Organists, and numerous locations across the Midwest. In 2006-2007, Schola Antiqua was Ensemble-in-Residence at the University of Chicago and currents holds an artistic residency at the Lumen Christi Institute. Born in September of 2012, the New Hope – Solebury & Lambertville Community Choir is a true community-based and community-oriented chorus, made up of members from the New Hope, Solebury, Lambertville, and immediate surrounding areas. The Choir is non-audition, and is open to all singers and would-be singers, ages 14 to 84 (and beyond). NHS&LCC is the New Hope area’s musical voice. We’ll be there a few times a year with concerts, we’ll be singing at community events, for Christmas caroling, at nursing homes & rehab centers, and more.  less
