Also winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the Choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals. The Touring Choir singers and Music Director, Mrs. Jacobs, during a regular weekly rehearsal. These 7th through 12th graders travel the world performing, from Italy to China to Hawaii. They have moved up to the top training level...after starting in beginning levels in the Summit Children's Choir. Thank you to all Touring Choir singers for staying with it and bringing the world something to treasure.
