We aim to establish a strong group of singers who rehearse and perform regularly, predominantly a cappella Choral works but sometimes with instruments and including some solo/small ensemble repertoire. We will be commissioning new works as well as exploring established repertoire and pieces by CoMA composers and associates. The group will reinforce as well as supplement the established CoMA Voices programme. Singers are expected to be confident singers with some sight reading experience, be prepared to tackle unusual vocal techniques and unconventional pieces. The TCC is made up of youth and adults from the Trumansburg Community. We welcome new members and are looking to grow the chorus. There is no audition to join our ranks, however, a basic knowledge of Choral singing and music is helpful.

We are dedicated to educating audiences of all ages in music from the Medieval period through the 21st century through high quality performances by its professional vocal ensemble, Kantorei Choral Ensemble. Kantorei is largely unconducted which provides a unique connection to the audience, creating an unusually intimate performance and audience experience.
