Students meet each week for a 60 minute class learning the fundamentals of synchronized moves and harmony while singing popular songs. Emphasis is placed on developing good fundamental vocal skills, part-singing, sight reading, choreography, stage presence and musicianship. The Charlotte Glee Club performs at Charlotte Academy of Music as well as Community events.

We specialise in performing hit songs mainly from the 1980s as you've never heard them before. Why? Because the majority of our songs are arranged specially for us by our ridiculously talented in house music team. We perform all over London in clubs and pubs and can be relied upon to bring a sparkle to any occasion, as Musical Director Kat Yates explains: "In KiS (as we're known to our friends) we've really put the emphasis on fun - and our audiences relate to this. As a result we've performed at festivals, events and celebrations all over London and people always ask us back for more. Plus we sing all your favourite 80s songs - what more could you want ?"  less

Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson, Accompanist: Gayle Giese. Give us a palette to paint us as we are. Enough of black and white, yellow and red, Those false colors that sham at fact. Coffee chocolate, and cafe au lait Ivoried-saffron and saffroned-ivory, Bronze and brass, copper and rose gold, Tea and pale butter, golden almond, Infinite varieties of browns and tans, Pale rose, pink, and soft rose cream, Mahogany, oak, cedar, and champagne. These are the colors of people I see, Not black and white, not yellow and red. Those false colors no longer will do. Give us a palette to paint us true.  less

On our first birthday, we won the Acappella/barbershop class at the 2011 International Eisteddfod in Wales, and we have earned many awards and recognitions to date in varous competitions. Under the direction of the exceptionally talented Mr Andrew Walker and his music team of award winning vocalists Affinity embraces educational aims, and encourages personal development in singing and performance. Many of our singers are school music teachers and voice teachers. We perform a wide variety of music from classical and broadway to pop and vocal jazz. The Choir was founded in 2011 by friends who have spent their lives teaching others to perform, but whom rarely get the chance to sing anymore. We are directed by Jason Krigas and accompanied by Kathryn Polyack.
