This is the MILLION PEOPLE FOR MALA campaign. It opens up a space for those who want more than words, it can appeal to every American. Recent history suggests the unimaginable is now the possible. Through weight of numbers, using our collective imagination, let’s make some noise in 2020. Let’s aim to hear “Make America Love Again” echoing round the USA, a message that can influence millions of individual’s perceptions and decisions. It does not meet on a regular basis, but comes together for short, intensive work periods, culminating in performances, or “Projects.” The majority of its musicians are recruited from the metropolitan Washington, DC and Baltimore areas, but some come from as far away as New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. We offer high-quality performances of significant choral, and choral-orchestral music, concentrating especially, but not exclusively, on the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
