The chorale is an adult auditioned (SATB) community based chorus based in NE Philadelphia. Our current Artistic Director is Gary Eslinger. We perform 2-6 concerts per year at venues throughout the five county Philadelphia area.

Founded in 1977, the choir has gained a well-deserved reputation for performing neglected and unfamiliar music as well as better known and popular pieces, both sacred and secular. New members are welcome and encouraged to attend three rehearsals before an informal voice appraisal.  

Choir invisible (the real one!) sings for Archbishop Desmond Tutu as he arrived in the UK on July 11th 2008. The song, 'Malaika' is in Swahili (My Angel). Film clip is at the moment of arrival, before the concert which took place in the King's Hall, Stoke-on-Trent.
