Argentine composer, pianist and music director Ariel Ramírez composed the Mass for Peace and Justice in 1981, during the military dictatorship in Argentina. His childhood friend, the presbytery Osvaldo Catena, assembled the texts, amongst which is the peace message of Pope John Paul II of 1979. This work won the first prize in the 2013 Composition Competition of the European Choral Association in the frame of the festival Youth Choirs in Movement.

YNS is a Children's choir organization of over 330 singers in 8 different choirs ranging in age from grades 1- 12. Choirs consist of singers grouped by age and ability, as well as a Boys Choir and Young Men's Chorus
