Open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13, the choir rehearses on Tuesdays between 5.15 and 6.30 at St Peter's Church, Fulham. Children learn to sing together, about vocal development and musicianship, and most importantly have fun! The choir will give regular performances in and around Fulham. The concert theme focused on the damaging nature of gossip and the larger meaning of how words are powerful and have greater impact than we realize. Based on a well-known Jewish Folk tale, the piece is largely sung in Yiddish, featuring narrated passages in English, with the moral resolution in Hebrew.
