An earthly tree a heavenly fruit it bear, A case of clay contained a crown immortal. A crown of crowns, a King whose cost and care Redeemed poor man, whose race before was thrall To death, to doom, to pains of everlasting, By His Sweet death, scorns, stripes, and often fasting. A star above the stars, a sun of light, Whose blessed beams this wretched earth bespread With hope of heaven and of God's Son the sight, Which in our flesh and sinful soul lay dead. O faith, O hope, O joys renowned for ever, O lively life that deathless shall persevere. Then let us sing the lullabys of sleep To this Sweet babe, born to awake us all From drowsy sin that made old Adam weep, And by his fault gave to mankind the fall. For lo! this day, the birth day, day of days, Summons our songs to give Him laud and praise. is).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less

As a result of the love they had for choir Music, they felt a need for a school choir to be established. From the first year of its existence, choir was trained and prepared for the schools’ eisteddfods by two fellow students. In 1998, they both matriculated. In the following year these students continued with the choir training and were compensated for their services by the School Governing Body (SGB). In 2001 they were snatched by nearby schools that were willing to pay them better wages and the SGB had to look for other people who could assist with choir training from the community. This continued until 2004, when the school employed a teacher who studied Music at university. In 2009 another teacher, who studied Music too, came and volunteered his services at the school. In 2010 the teacher was employed on a temporary basis by the Department of... is).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less

This is footage from their concert at St Stephani, Bremen in December, 2010. The text of this piece is really cool. It is about a mystical tribe of desert women who would stamp their feet into the dust creating beautiful clouds. Light would shine through and create patterns and rainbows. Men would be attracted by these clouds and come to the women's camp. The Wirindji women would cook for them, mate with them then kill them and eat them! You can hear the beautiful sounds of the desert landscape, the clusters of sunlight and the dangerous moral :-) Video: Ray Evans - Rock Juice Media(www.rockjuicemedia.com) is).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less
