We are currently around 50 ambitious amateur Singers between 18 and 50 that share their love for choir music. Our biggest success was winning the German National Choir Competition in 2010 in the category Jazz vocal et cetera - a capella.

La obra integra música compuesta por Raga y Cruz, a través de un proceso de interacción a distancia, una exploración de texturas y recursos que buscan unir a las posibilidades sonoras de la voz humana, otro tipo de sonoridades, corporales, instrumentales, haciendo uso de la tecnología. Con la interpretación de Aequalis Aurea, Coro de cámara femenino tutelado por la Fundación Aequalis. La realización visual de Fabiana cruz, parte de un concepto generado de manera colectiva y se inserta dentro de la música visual, corriente artística que trabaja con el vínculo entre la música y su interpretación a través de la imagen. World-class, professional Canadian soloists enjoy performing with with the choir time and again. Each season, the choir presents four or five concerts, incorporating a blend of repertoire from gospel to sacred to pop to oratorio. Classical highlights include St. Matthew Passion, Elijah, the annual Messiah, Carmina Burana, and Bach's B Minor Mass, which was a crowning achievement for the choir’s 10th and 20th anniversaries. Other popular concerts have featured the musical and comedic talents of Natalie Choquette, the famous and charismatic Michael Burgess, and the stirring sounds of spirituals under the direction of Brainerd Blyden-Taylor, whose own professional chamber choir, The Nathaniel Dett Chorale, headed for Washington to join the celebrations around President Obama’s inauguration.  less

Cantate is a mixed-voice youth choir based in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire. It is open to all young Singers, whatever their background and musical upbringing. Cantate comprises three choirs for children and young people which all perform to an exceptionally high standard. Cantate performed at the Royal Albert Hall, both in the BBC and Schools Prom Concerts, the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican, the Guildhall London, 10 Downing Street, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Basilica of St Francis in Assisi, St Mark’s Basilica in Venice, and in many local and regional venues. Cantate has gained many national and international awards. In 2008 we achieved international acclaim at the world’s largest choral event – the World Choir Games in Graz, Austria – in which over 430 choirs from some 90 countries competed. Cantate won gold and silver medals, and was the only UK choir to win a gold medal in the finals.  less

Cada uno de ellos se ha aprendido y grabado individualmente con su voz o instrumento una parte de esta canción original, para después juntarlas para dar como resultado este maravilloso despliegue hecho por estos jóvenes de entre 13 y 15 años con motivo de la ceremonia de graduación de la generación 2011-2014. Estos jóvenes nos demuestran que lo único que hace falta para lograr tus metas es arriesgarte y dar todo de tí. Más de la tercera parte de ellos (incluída la solista) jamás habían cantado en público hasta este momento. This four part chorus (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) is devoted to music of all styles, including Classical, Broadway and Contemporary tunes. These dynamic and talented Singers range in age from 14-25, and include young women in gr.11 and higher, and young men with changed voices. The SYC annually participates in the Family Christmas Concert, and choreographed year end show. They also stage an Orchestra concert each spring, which has presented pieces such as Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, Vivaldi's Gloria, and Requiems by Mozart, Faure, Rutter, and Daley, to name a few. This year, the SYC looks forward to singing Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. The Youth Chorus joined the senior and chamber choirs in their 2009 tour to the UK. They were ecstatic to receive 8th place standing in the Mixed Voices category at a festival that boasts participants from over 50 different countries.
