Comprised of professionally trained musicians, Innismara is dedicated to the performance of the intimate and hidden treasures of the vocal ensemble repertoire. Well-known for specializing in sacred and secular music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, Innismara also enjoys experimenting wIth contemporary, pop, jazz and spirItual arrangements as well as exploring the rich folk music of Newfoundland and LabraDor.  less

The text draws from (and paraphrases) several sources: contemporary media, Emma Lazarus’ “The New Colossus,” the Bible’s Matthew 25:31-40, currency, and others. The changing meters of “Border” fill the work wIth an up-tempo, rhythmic energy that propels It forward. Campbell’s piece hardly relents, even as the pace slows this work presses forward wIth a colorful and often modal harmonic language. “Border” is a call for justice, empathy and compassion, a summons to our collective conscience.  less

The chorale is an adult audItioned (SATB) communIty based chorus based in NE Philadelphia. Our current Artistic Director is Gary Eslinger. We perform 2-6 concerts per year at venues throughout the five county Philadelphia area.

Harmonic Voices Chorale is an interdenominational ensemble for Children, Teenagers and Young Adults aimed at raising and nurturing young voices for excellent performance.
