The heart of Dozan wa Awtar Music Establishment is singing and community building. Major activities revolve around three groups: Dozan wa Awtar Singers, Dozan and Atfal Dozan. Dozan wa Awtar Singers is an innovative large community choir ranging from 40-60 singers that performs three main concerts a year. Their repertoire includes a wide variety of genres including classical, musical theater, Arabic and world music . Dozan is a chamber choir that experiments with new Arabic arrangements and other world music and specializes in smaller tailored performances as well as festivals and competitions. Invitato in concerti e rassegne in tutta la Sicilia, annovera tra le realizzazioni più notevoli: due spettacoli con Giorgio Albertazzi, l’esecuzione dei Carmina Burana presso l’Università di Messina e di “The Armed Man” di K.Jenkins con l’Orchestra di Lecco, l’allestimento di musical, concerti in diverse città d’Italia tra cui Assisi, Mantova, Roma, Massa, Lecco. Particolare attenzione, negli ultimi anni, è stata data alla produzione di spettacoli originali, come DoppiArmonia:percorsi polifonici per doppio coro (Duomo di Monreale). Di rilievo anche la partecipazione a diverse edizioni di “Fede, Arte e Musica” presso il Duomo di Messina in collaborazione con Mons. Their sound combines rock, acapella, electronic, ambient and chant influences. Paradisum was created by Richard Childress, a Chicago-born professional singer, arranger and manager who brought together five talented and versatile young singers to record a few demo tracks. This attracted some attention from a veteran A & R professional, resulting in Paradisum being invited to perform in a private showcase in London before execs from Universal and Sony/BMG Records. The band is now in a new exciting collaboration with the brilliant tv and film composer Philip Sheppard. New covers and original sings will be out on Soundcloud and iTunes early in 2012.  less

The group pursues two main aims: on the one hand to revive old, nearly forgotten Carinthian folk songs, and on the other hand to enrich the Carinthian music scene by new songs and interpretations. The Oktet Suha has performed more than 1400 times in Austria and all over Europe, as well as in the USA, Australia, Ukraina, Argentina and Canada. They had lots of tv and radio appearances worldwide. Oktet Suha has released 12 CD ́s since and is the main organizer of the annual cross boarder vocal Festival Suha. Their highlights were the European Award for Folk and Art and the Silver award of the Slovenian Republik.  less

Most of what the viewers on youtube get to see of us does not effectively capture our interactive and engaging live experience. We hope that this promo clip will give viewers and fans of our music a chance to see Rendezvous in action, and what we have to offer as a professional recording, competing and performing quartet. Rendezvous was formed in 2008 by music majors studying jazz at Humber College in Toronto. Since then, their barbershop/a cappella jazz music has taken them all over the world to perform and compete. They are active members of the barbershop community, especially with heavy involvement in the online community of barbershoppers and multitrackers. Most important of all, they are just 4 young guys who love to sing and have fun, and share music with anyone who will take a moment to listen.
