Members of the Choir stem from various renowned Choirs from Prague (Bambini di Praga, Radost Praha and others). The repertoire of Cancioneta Praga is very broad. It includes not only old-time compositions but also music of the 20th century, as well as carols from around the world and the Czech Republic, a selection of Czech folk songs and folk songs from around the world. The Choir is also able to perform different styles of music, e.g. pop-music. He came to Brazil in 1956 and spent half of his life in Salvador. He was a member of the Brazilian Academy of Music. He was master of three generations of conductors and composers in Brazil. PSALM 150 is a contemporary piece with rhythmic, harmonic and contrapuntal challenges. With its sounds of bells, trumpets, strings, flutes and timpani, describes the psalm and ends with a Hallelujah in the form of liturgical dance that grows up to the grand finale.  less
