Founded in 1970 by a group of enthusiastic amateur singers, our repertoire ranges from The great classical choral works to modern contemporary pieces. Under The skilled direction of Howard Kane, who was appointed musical director in 2008, and ably assisted by Robert Woods The choir has grown in size and reputation. Rehearsals Monday nights are rehearsal nights which are held in Frodsham Methodist Church, Kingsley Rd, WA6 6BA from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are welcome to come along and give us a try. We rehearse from September through to July for our four main concerts, which are held in Frodsham, and also take our music to oTher venues in The area. Groups of singers from within The choir are available to sing at weddings and The choir regularly puts on events to raise money for local charities.  less

All of Them are former members of The “Dresdner Kreuzchor” (Choir of The Church of The Holy Cross Dresden) or The “Thomanerchor Leipzig” (St. Thomas Choir Leipzig), two of The most famous boy's choirs in Germany. The singers have set Themselves The target to present Their listeners a wide musical spectrum. Their repertoire consists of Vocal music from Renaissance and Baroque to Romanticism to The 20th and 21st century. Important elements are works of Jacobus Gallus, Michael Praetorius, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Francis Poulenc and Rudolf Mauersberger. In addition They also perform with popular music. Music of The “Comedian Harmonists”, “The Beatles”, Billy Joel or The German group “Wise Guys” are also an essential part of Their repertoire. It is a choir Ensemble of about 25 people, mainly amateurs. They share an incredible passion for music and are keen on spreading Their positive singing energy. The choir is known for its modern choral music repertoire, consisting of songs from all over The world as well as pop music masterpieces. The group was awarded a silver medal in pop music category during 5th 'Music Everywhere Festival' in Gdansk in 2019. So far, The choir has performed in several places in Poland, often The non-obvious ones, trying to make choral music available to everyone. The choir’s conductor, Zuzanna Popiołkiewicz, graduated from Conducting faculty at The Academy of Music in Gdansk.
