We're a group of young professionals who specialise in early music, but Polyphony especially. The singers are made up of CaThedral choral scholars and Oxbridge choral scholars. They're directed by MatThew Collins.

Described as ‘a fine body of singers’ by John Packwood in The Bristol Evening Post, They have delighted audiences with Their fresh, inspiring interpretations of choral repertory from many centuries. Members of The choir come from many parts of The UK for intensive weekends of music-making, culminating in concerts acclaimed for Their invigorating choral sound, clarity of tone and texture, and innovative programming. The choir, which began at Brigham Young University as an early music Ensemble, transformed into one of The premier non-collegiate chamber groups in The Western United States. This award-winning Ensemble achieves high performance Standards by drawing on The rich musical heritage of The region. Many Cantorum singers have solo careers and all have sung with top collegiate Ensembles. A number have also sung as members of The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Utah Chamber Artists, and Salt Lake Vocal Artists. In addition, Cantorum is proud to have a high representation of talented choral educators. The group won both of its categories at The 2016 Interkultur competition and received special commendation for Their performance of Dale Warland and Hugo Distler. Everyone is welcome, and no previous singing experience is necessary. Each session will introduce new songs, as well as continuing to work on a core repertoire.
