Kyrie - Une heure ou deux me restent dans ce bruit sonore que tu es ... soprano and alto solos (distant and present voices) with guitar accompaniment 2. Un dernier regard car la fenêtre ouverte que tu es se clôt....soprano (still singing Kyrie) and alto with guitar accompaniment 3. Alone we are together in this place - two alto recorders and guitar with spoken voice 4. He makes men pure from their sins (words by St Paul) - two equal voices with guitar chord names 5. Kyrie eleison and Christe eleison (sung in the distance) 6. Amidst grey working days - alto and guitar 7. The Choir was first formed in 1962 as Aberystwyth Post Office Gleemen under the direction of James Morse. During the forty plus years of its lifetime it has benefited from the leadership of four further conductors, David Griffiths, Margaret Maddock, Len W...  is).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreisplay:none;">The Choir was first formed in 1962 as Aberystwyth Post Office Gleemen under the direction of James Morse. During the forty plus years of its lifetime it has benefited from the leadership of four further conductors, David Griffiths, Margaret Maddock, Len Williams, and our present Director of Music, Carol Davies. The choir has travelled widely over the years with tours in Europe, United States and Canada besides engagements throughout Wales and England. Our concert venues have varied from village halls to national auditoria and great cathedrals. In the Eisteddfod field we have won two National first prizes plus several seconds and others. In 2002 we celebrated our 40th anniversary with a sell-out concert in the 1000 seat Great Hall in Aberystwyth. One of the Choirs highlights was performing with the Central Band of the RAF at the Mayflower theatre Southampton and before Princess Beatrice of the Netherlands as part of a joint concert of a 1000 Welsh and Dutch voices. Cartoons by Mark Haviland Duet on the anonymous poem about a centipede - she was quite happy with her hundred legs until a frog asked her to think about which leg comes after which... The sound sample is sung by the composer in B flat. A version in D is also available It can be sung by two solo voices or by a choir of any kind
