The one hundred avid Choral singers, all non-music majors, come together into this vigorous and passionate auditioned musical group. With all their bright talents, immense potential, remarkable adaptability, diligence and love towards Choral music, the singers delight in performing works from a wide range of Choral repertoire, including canonic Western Choral literatures, American folklore, spirituals and gospel, music, Chinese art songs, Taiwanese folksongs, operatic Choral numbers, musical medleys, and commissioned works by Taiwan's own emerging talented composers. The mission of Nashville Singers is to entertain, educate, unite and uplift their audiences and members through music that is distinguished for its innovation, diversity and artistic excellence. Their philanthropic mission of Nashville Singers is to provide funding and support for music education in our schools and the community. The singers are all volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of the chorus.
