A choral piece composed by an 18-year old Slovenian talent Matej Kastelic (one of the Singers as well). Not too perfect, but still nice performance by his Conservatoire collegues.

We were born on the 24th of july 2017. A new choir in our local area. Open to all Singers who want to have a fun singing experience, performing songs from the charts, old and new.

The members of the New Choir have been brought together by their common love for the making of beautiful music. The New Choir is dedicated to the study and performance of quality choral literature and sharing the joy and the spiritual enhancement inherent in the making of music. The New Choir has been recognized for their performances of thoughtfully prepared programs. The group’s repertory is quite wide and eclectic and ranges from sacred and secular early music to contemporary works. Besides singing some of the most important Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces, by composers such as Victoria, Palestrina, Byrd, Monteverdi, Purcell, Handel and Bach, the group has also premiered several contemporary pieces and made first modern auditions of many Portuguese Renaissance and Baroque works. Christopher Bochmann, Ivan Moody, Bob Chilcott, Luis Tinoco, Eurico Carrapatoso and Vasco Mendonça are some of the composers who dedicated works to Grupo Vocal Olisipo.
