We are a truly trans-generational choir consisting of staff, parents, colleagues, friends and family from across The Formby High School community. At full strength, we have over 80 talented members and we have recently launched a smaller ‘function’ group – The ‘G:Force Executive’ for weddings and private functions. We support The national Sing Up campaign and perform regularly across The local community. This exciting and innovative choir rehearses every Tuesday evening during term time, from 6.30pm til 8.00pm. The group is made up of twenty-somethings (mostly!) who are young professionals living in London. Founded by singers and beatboxers from The likes of The International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, Last Choir Standing and Britain's Got Talent favourites Out of The Blue, The group’s repertoire spans from Billy Joel to The Black Eyed Peas, via pop, Jazz, barbershop, rap and original composition as They offer a programme of sumptuous Jazz arrangements, genre jumping covers and assorted originals. Following a successful run at The Edinburgh Fringe, The Refrains enjoyed a sold-out London debut at The Forge, Camden.
