Founded in 2009, mixed voices Bel Canto Choir Vilnius is officially confirmed as the best volunteer choir in Lithuania. The Choir unites more than 60 singers, who have extensive singing experience in various choirs in Lithuania, and whose desire is to have quality leisure time and enjoy one of life’s most pleasant activities – singing. Their goal is to sing different styles of music and work with various other groups, present high quality musical projects, as well as take part in competitions and festivals in Lithuania and abroad.
On December 1, 2013, Bel Canto Choir Vilnius rocked the country’s choral music scene and accomplished unthinkable. During the fourth year of its existence, the Choir won the Lithuania’s major National Choral Competition, thus becoming the best volunteer choir in the country. Afterwards, simmer the audience at low heat for five minutes and finally – depending on the favored intensity – let it rise by 200 degrees for about half an hour up to 1, 5 hours. The result will satisfy every single taste and linger on for a very long time. A feast for both eyes and ears, looking for peers.
This displays the recipe forming the basis of an evening with the str8voices from Hanover. Immense a cappella- energy out of 8 young throats, interpreting songs such as “run run run” by the Real Group in a quite own and individual way.
