Dynamic, gifted and spirited are some of the words used to describe this group of Vocalists and musicians. The JYC was founded by its principal director Gregory Simms, a member of the World Choir Council and National Coordinator for Music with the Jamaica Cultural development Commission. The ensemble has performed at the Maryland Renaissance Festival annually since 1987. Are you a choral singer? Do you like to sing old and interesting music in different languages? Do you like to dress in costume and attend renaissance festivals? We have the perfect opportunity for you! The Renaissance Revelers are looking for singers. All parts are needed, but we are in particular need of tenors and basses. Ability to sight read is not required but is desirable.
