The Choir is made up of 25 members from a variety of professional backgro... moreThe Gesualdo Chamber Choir was founded in 2000 by conductor andrás Stimecz with The aim to popularize Hungarian culture worldwide and introduce foreign Choral traditions to Hungary. The Choir is made up of 25 members from a variety of professional backgrounds, including teachers, scientists, clerics, accountants, carpenters, and engineers. The Choir's repertoire consists mainly of Choral works from The renaissance and 20th century, as well as contemporary pieces in Hungarian, English, Latin, Italian, French, and German.
The Gesualdo Choir has earned several national and international awards, winning top ratings in Hungary as well as 2nd and 3rd place prizes at The prestigious Tonen Choir competition in The NeTherlands. The Choir performs 15 times each year within Hungary, and continually seeks opportunities to spread The beauty of The Hungarian Choral tradition abroad.

The music we perform represents a crossover of The jazz and popular music idioms. The students in The KCKCC VJ program learn Jazz Education through a variety of methods. First of all, each of These students take private vocal jazz coachings weekly. They also perform music by professional vocal ensembles, arrangements by well-known vocal jazz educators, and learn jazz and popular music standards (both through The ensemble and in private coachings).
