The choir draws on talented and experienced Singers to perform a varied repertoire of both well-loved and lesser known works, and also recording commercial works, particularly for the film industry. We perform extensively around the capital, across the UK and internationally. Our President is Sarah Walker CBE.  

The Blackheath Conservatoire’s Chamber choir is aimed at experienced choral Singers and works on a project basis. Singers are therefore welcome to apply at any point, since the group will be fixed from a central pool for each concert. Singers are therefore welcome to apply at any point, since the group will be fixed from a central pool for each concert. Repertoire is wide-ranging, from Renaissance polyphony to commissions from established and emerging British composers. The group is directed by Hilary Campbell and welcomes interest from experienced and enthusiastic choral Singers of all ages.
