This auditioned Choir has 150 adult Mixed voices and 300 youth Mixed voices rehearsing weekly to bring various masterworks, original pieces, collaborations and new arrangements to The ears of many. Doug Mears is The Artistic Director with Patrick Vaughn as Youth Director. Youth Choruses have two convenient campuses with The professional support of Caroline Crocker and Bonny Tynch and Youth Chorus Directors. Additionally, full time accompanists and music educators meet The rehearsal and music education portions of this semi-professional chorus. FCS is honored to work with renown musicians, conductors and orchestras to present The finest choral programs available. Sometimes we join oTher choruses to produce even larger musical works. Founded in 1989 by Mr. Albert Morland to provide an opportunity for ex-members of The Wonderboom High School Choir to continue singing togeTher after matriculating, it has since evolved to include members from a broader community that come from various backgrounds and professions (including law, accounting, nursing, teaching and IT) and are between 18 and 65 years of age.
