The group meets every Wednesday evening in The gym at The Maudsley Hospital, 115 Denmark Hill SE5 8AZ between 6-7pm. Our patron is The wonderful Mary King.

We aim to establish a strong group of singers who rehearse and perform regularly, predominantly a cappella choral works but sometimes with instruments and including some solo/small ensemble repertoire. We will be commissioning new works as well as exploring established repertoire and pieces by CoMA composers and associates. The group will reinforce as well as supplement The established CoMA Voices programme. Singers are expected to be confident singers with some sight reading experience, be prepared to tackle unusual vocal techniques and unconventional pieces. Singers are expected to work and prepare Themselves between rehearsals  less

Our aspiration is to take township choral singing to higher a level. We are also aiming at focusing more on choral projects and concerts than competitions so that our singers enjoy singing and get compensated for engaging in The Choir. Choir members are taught Theory and History of music for free.
